  • Leadership Chair Academy: Bernadette Montoya, Vice President of SAEM, attended the International Leadership Chair Academy in San Antonio, TX. Montoya had the great pleasure of reconnecting with Clifton Taulbert (pictured in photo).  Clifton Taulbert is an American author, business consultant and speaker. He is best known for his books Once Upon a Time When We Were Colored and Eight Habits of the Heart: Embracing the Values that Build Strong Communities.  His stories are a great reminder about our role in building a community with our students.

  • Graduation Fair: The Commencement Staff cohosted the Spring 2016 Graduation Fair with the NMSU Barnes and Noble Bookstore and University Advancement. During the two-day fair, the staff saw 1,018 students. During the fair students purchased all necessary items and received all the graduation information they needed to be ready for the day of the ceremony. Students reserved their seat for the ceremony, purchased their cap and gown and purchased their NMSU Alumni ring.
